Growing up in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Roger quickly learned the value of hard work as a bag boy for a local supermarket to where he is today as the COO of Meridian Development Company. Throughout his over 30-year career, he has established a reputation as a transformational leader who is driven by challenge, undeterred by obstacles, and committed to furthering standards of excellence.
His expertise encompasses all aspects of business development and administration, from controlling costs and maximizing revenues to harnessing team strengths to improve company-wide performance. He has enjoyed providing leadership, spearheading development, and refining operational strategies to expand market share for a variety of organizations. He has enjoyed particularly notable success in the hospitality and commercial real estate industry, where he has managed millions of square feet of real estate and developed strategies to drive revenue growth for investors.
As a COO, Roger provides the leadership, management, and vision necessary to ensure that the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, professionals, and systems are in place to effectively grow the organization and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency. His roles have been to secure strong stability, controls, efficiency, and compliance of ALL the firm’s operations (including Finance, Accounting, IT, HR, and Property Management) to drive extensive and sustainable growth.
Additionally, Roger worked at several large organizations in the commercial real estate and development industry. He served as the COO for Forge Building Company and COO for Prime Group Holdings. In addition to Prime Roger has held a key executive leadership role at TD Development, Simply Self-Storage, and Platinum Storage Group.
Roger studied Aviation Science and Engineering at Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa, OK and is a proud veteran with the US Army and Army National Guard. In his free time Roger enjoys outdoor activities, Muay Thai, jiu-jitsu, and volunteering to help improve the lives of dogs and other pets.
